The ideal candidate has 7+ years in educational technology, with leadership experience and strong LMS expertise (Moodle/Canvas/Blackboard). A Master's degree is required, with remote work across Gauteng and beyond.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years in educational technology or related role, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Proven expertise in managing and configuring LMS platforms (Moodle/Canvas/Blackboard).
• Strong instructional design, multimedia development, and online pedagogy skills.
• Experience in training educators and staff on educational tech tools.
• Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of educational technology initiatives.
• Manage and support LMS for optimal functionality and user experience.
• Provide training and ongoing support to faculty and staff on educational technologies.
• Develop and curate digital learning resources and multimedia content.
• Evaluate and recommend new educational technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with curriculum developers to integrate technology into course design.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to educational tech platforms and provide timely solutions.
• Stay updated on trends in educational technology and online learning.
• Develop strategies for digital literacy and online safety for students and staff.
• Contribute to strategic planning for technology integration in education.
