Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Educational Technology Specialist for our remote-first team. You will design and deploy innovative edtech solutions, supporting global learners from home or any remote location.

You will lead LMS guidance, training, and evaluation of new technologies, collaborating with instructional designers and IT. A master’s in Educational Technology and 5–7 years in the field are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Educational Technology or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in educational technology or instructional design.
• Proven LMS expertise (Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard) and e-learning tools.
• Strong understanding of online learning principles and ADDIE/SAM models.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting on platform usage.
• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement educational technology solutions aligned with pedagogy.
• Guide faculty on LMS, digital content, and educational tools.
• Evaluate emerging educational technologies and advise on adoption.
• Develop and deliver training programs for educators on new technologies.
• Troubleshoot issues on educational platforms to minimize disruption.
• Collaborate with instructional designers, IT support, and content creators.
• Stay current with trends in educational technology and online learning.
• Create documentation and best-practice resources.
• Contribute to strategic planning for edtech initiatives.
• Ensure accessibility and inclusive design in tech implementations.
