Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a motivated Remote Driver Recruiter to source and hire qualified drivers for expanding transportation operations. Based from a remote location, ideally near Paarl, you will manage the full recruitment cycle from candidate sourcing to extending offers.

This role requires understanding driver requirements (licenses, PDPs, medicals), strong communication, and the ability to work independently using ATS systems and online platforms to build a diverse talent pipeline.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a recruiter in transport or logistics.
• Experience with full-cycle recruitment and candidate management.
• Understanding of driver-specific requirements (licenses, PDPs, medicals).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and interview candidates for driving roles remotely.
• Develop strategies to attract a diverse pool of drivers.
• Build and maintain a candidate pipeline via networking, boards, social media.
• Oversee offers, background checks, reference checks, and screenings.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to meet staffing needs.
• Maintain ATS records and track recruitment progress.
