Placements24 is seeking a motivated Remote Driver Recruiter to source and hire qualified drivers for expanding transportation operations. Based from a remote location, ideally near Paarl, you will manage the full recruitment cycle from candidate sourcing to extending offers.

This role requires understanding driver requirements (licenses, PDPs, medicals), strong communication, and the ability to work independently using ATS systems and online platforms to build a diverse talent pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the offer process, including background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment screenings.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their specific staffing needs and ensure successful placements.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and track recruitment progress using applicant tracking systems (ATS).

Requirements

• Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably with a focus on the transportation or logistics industry.
• Demonstrated success in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate management.
• Excellent understanding of driver recruitment processes and requirements (e.g., licenses, PDPs, medicals).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in using online recruitment platforms and ATS systems.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain productivity in a remote setting.
