Job summary

TransUnion is seeking a Debt Counselling Administrator for a remote position in South Africa. You will manage Debt Counsellor requests, update consumer data, and handle Form 17 and Debt Review status changes while maintaining data integrity and SLA adherence.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Salesforce experience and excellent written communication are essential for feedback and coordination.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills with professionalism under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with a process-driven approach.
• Ability to work independently and follow established processes.
• Experience using Salesforce to manage communications.
• Excellent written communication for feedback with Debt Counsellors.
• Minimum of 1 year in administrative or customer service roles.
• Customer-focused mindset and willingness to learn.
• Good organization and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming requests and emails from Debt Counsellors promptly, accurately and professionally.
• Process Debt Counselling requests and update consumer data across systems.
• Update instructions from Debt Counsellors including Form 17 and Debt Review status codes.
• Manage clearance certificate requests including updates to payment profiles, defaults and status codes.
• Provide clear feedback to Debt Counsellors through Salesforce.
• Work towards performance targets and SLAs including adherence, quality and productivity.
• Maintain accuracy and quality when processing requests and consumer information.
• Support team with additional admin and operational responsibilities.
