Job summary

WNS South Africa is seeking a Debt Collection Associate in Cape Town to contact customers with outstanding balances and help them settle their accounts while ensuring compliance with internal SLA's.

The role requires 6–12 months debt collecting experience, strong English, and excellent negotiation and admin skills. You will work with international clients and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months debt collecting experience.
• Experience with international clients is preferred.
• High proficiency in verbal & written English.
• Excellent negotiation and customer-handling skills.
• Strong administrative and record-keeping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Proactively contact customers by phone and written communication.
• Use debt collection techniques to negotiate settlements and reduce bad debt.
• Work with customers to resolve queries and meet SLAs.
• Maintain accurate customer records and update systems accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
