Placements24 is seeking a Cryptocurrency Compliance Officer to lead AML/KYC compliance for a globally operating crypto exchange. This fully remote role involves collaborating with a distributed team to ensure regulatory adherence and robust compliance programs.

You will monitor transactions, file SARs, stay updated on regulatory changes, and train staff. A strong background in financial regulations and crypto is required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of AML/KYC regulations and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and investigative skills.
• Proficiency with compliance management software and transaction monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage AML/KYC compliance programs.
• Monitor cryptocurrency transactions and user activities for suspicious patterns.
• Conduct risk assessments related to money laundering and terrorist financing.
• Prepare and file SARs and other regulatory filings.
• Stay updated on evolving crypto regulations across jurisdictions.
• Deliver compliance training programs for employees.
