Placements24 is seeking a Remote Compliance Officer specializing in Financial Crimes to join its fintech compliance team. This fully remote role focuses on AML, KYC, and CTF program development and ongoing management to safeguard global operations.

You will develop policies, conduct risk assessments, monitor transactions, file SARs, and train staff. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in financial crime compliance and certifications such as CAMS or ICA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Criminology, or related field.
• At least 5 years in financial crime compliance (AML/KYC/CTF) or fraud prevention.
• Deep knowledge of international AML/KYC/CTF regulations.
• CAMS, ICA or similar certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain AML, KYC, and CTF policies.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
• Oversee transaction monitoring and investigate alerts.
• Manage customer due diligence and KYC/CDD procedures.
• Prepare and file SARs with authorities.
• Conduct internal audits and compliance testing.
• Provide training on financial crime compliance.
• Stay current with AML/KYC/CTF regulations and best practices.
• Liaise with regulators and law enforcement as needed.
• Manage third-party risk assessments related to financial crime.
