Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous and organized Remote Construction Document Controller to manage and maintain project documentation digitally. This fully remote position requires attention to detail and experience with document management systems.

You will structure, index, version-control, and securely store drawings, RFIs, submittals, and minutes while supporting project teams online. The role offers work-from-home flexibility and opportunities to contribute to major construction projects

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Document Controller, preferably in construction.
• Proficiency in using document management software and digital archiving systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of construction project documentation lifecycle.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Good communication skills for interacting with remote project teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a structured document control system for all project-related information.
• Receive, log, track, and distribute all incoming and outgoing project documentation (e.g., drawings, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes).
• Ensure all documents are accurately indexed, version-controlled, and stored in the designated digital repository.
• Manage the electronic filing system and maintain its integrity and accessibility.
• Assist project teams in retrieving and managing project documentation as required.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with the document control procedures.
