Placements24 is seeking a Remote Community Support Specialist to join its expanding virtual team in South Africa. The role involves delivering remote support to individuals and communities, connecting them with resources, and facilitating positive social outcomes from a home office.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, strong online communication, and proficiency with video conferencing tools and CRM systems to coordinate care and track progress while maintaining privacy and data

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or diploma in Social Work or related field.
• Experience in community support, social work, or counseling.
• Excellent online communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote support via phone, video, and secure messaging.
• Conduct online needs assessments and develop support strategies.
• Refer clients to community resources and services.
• Offer emotional support and guidance to clients.
• Maintain secure digital records of interactions.
• Collaborate with virtual team via meetings.
• Develop and manage online community engagement initiatives.
• Assist clients with using digital tools for support.
