Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel: researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking meetings to drive pipeline.

This fully remote role requires 2 years in SDR/BDR, SaaS or agency experience a plus, strong writing, and proficiency with Salesforce, SalesLoft, Apollo, and ZoomInfo. You will craft personalized outreach and maintain clean CRM records to support the sales team.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role; SaaS or agency experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Experience with outbound tools such as Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
