Job summary

Blacksmith Agency in South Africa is adding Sales Development Representatives to drive pipeline. You will research and source ideal accounts, identify decision makers, and book qualified discovery calls, using tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.

You will maintain Salesforce and SalesLoft records, test messaging, and work with the team to optimize targeting. Excellent written communication and 2 years of SDR/BDR experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication with ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
