Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Lead Consultant in Change Management and Organisational Design for a fully remote role. You will guide large-scale transformations, shape organizational structures, and drive adoption across distributed teams in South Africa and beyond.

You will mentor junior consultants, manage stakeholder relationships, and deliver data-driven improvements using proven methodologies and tools in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, HR, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in change management and organisational design consulting.
• Experience leading complex change initiatives across industries.
• Expertise in organizational design principles, frameworks, and tools.
• Strong knowledge of ADKAR, Kotter's 8-Step Process.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and virtual presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient with virtual collaboration and project management tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Asana.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities remotely.
• Experience working with clients across South Africa is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute change management strategies for large-scale transformations.
• Design organizational structures, roles, and responsibilities to enhance efficiency and agility.
• Conduct change impact assessments and develop mitigation plans.
• Develop and deliver engaging communication and training programs.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions with leaders and employees at all levels.
• Leverage digital tools to manage projects and engage distributed teams and clients.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices in change management and organisational design.
• Mentor junior consultants working remotely on client projects.
• Measure effectiveness of interventions and design adjustments based on data.
• Contribute to development of intellectual property in change management and organisational design.
