Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Lead Consultant specializing in Change Management and Organisational Design to join its fully remote team. The role involves leading engagements, guiding transformations, and fostering adoption across South Africa and internationally via digital channels.

The candidate will design organizational structures, mentor junior consultants, and measure intervention effectiveness while leveraging ADKAR and Kotter frameworks in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or HR.
• Minimum of 7 years in change management and organizational design consulting.
• Experience leading complex change initiatives across industries.
• Expertise in organizational design principles, frameworks, and tools.
• Strong knowledge of change management methodologies (ADKAR, Kotter's 8-Step Process).
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills for virtual environments.
• Proficiency with virtual collaboration and project management tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Asana).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities remotely.
• Experience working with clients in South Africa is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies to support large-scale transformations.
• Design and implement organizational structures, roles, and responsibilities to improve efficiency.
• Conduct change impact assessments, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans.
• Develop and deliver engaging communications and training programs.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions and build relationships with leaders and employees.
• Provide guidance on best practices in organizational design and change management.
• Mentor junior consultants working remotely on client projects.
• Measure effectiveness of interventions and adjust as needed.
