About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Catering Coordinator to manage catering logistics and client communications from anywhere. This role is crucial for coordinating food and beverage services for various events and clients across different regions, ensuring seamless operations without physical presence on-site. You will leverage technology to liaise with caterers, clients, and delivery partners, ensuring all dietary needs, timings, and specifications are met precisely. This is a fully remote position, ideal for an individual with exceptional planning abilities and a passion for the events and hospitality industry, operating within a modern, flexible work structure from Limpopo or beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of catering orders, including menu selection, dietary accommodations, and delivery schedules for remote and hybrid events.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and clear communication throughout the event planning process.
• Liaise with a network of approved catering vendors to confirm bookings, services, and adherence to quality standards.
• Manage event logistics, including scheduling deliveries, coordinating setup instructions (where applicable), and ensuring timely execution.
• Maintain accurate records of client information, event details, preferences, and feedback using CRM and project management tools.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in catering coordination, event planning, or a related role, with proven experience managing logistics remotely.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and vendors virtually.
