Job summary

D2B is seeking a Business Development Executive - Future Team Lead to help grow its commercial customer base. This remote contractor role starts by following up existing quotations and learning the business, services and customers, then evolves into proactive outbound sales with decision-makers in UK markets.

You will build relationships with architects, letting agents and property developers, identify new quote opportunities, and progress towards a senior leadership role as the team expands.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in B2B sales or outbound selling.
• Evidence of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication with decision-makers.
• Ability to work independently in remote environments.

Responsibilities

• Follow up existing remedial/service quotations with current customers.
• Conduct proactive outbound calling to prospective commercial customers.
• Build relationships with architects, letting agents and developers.
• Identify opportunities for new quotes and recurring multi-site contracts.
• Communicate confidently with prospects and avoid scripts.
• Maintain records of conversations and opportunities.
• Support outbound sales strategy alongside Directors.
• Progress toward senior/team-lead position as the team grows.
