Placements24 is seeking an exceptional Remote Automotive Diagnostics Specialist to join a geographically dispersed team. This fully remote role requires diagnosing complex vehicle issues and guiding repairs for repair shops and fleet managers across the country.

You will use advanced diagnostic tools, telematics data, and online resources, communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences while staying current with evolving automotive technologies.

Qualifications

Extensive experience as Automotive Diagnostic Specialist or Master Technician.
Proficiency with advanced diagnostic scan tools and software.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and deductive reasoning skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication for remote support.
Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

Provide remote expert-level diagnosis for complex automotive issues across makes/models.
Utilize remote tools, telematics data, and online resources to pinpoint failures.
Collaborate with dealership technicians and service advisors via video/conferencing to guide repairs.
Develop and document troubleshooting procedures for remote support.
Analyze diagnostic data to identify trends and provide feedback for product improvement.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, diagnostic tools, and repair strategies.
