Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our remote technical support team. You will provide expert remote assistance to dealerships and repair shops, diagnosing complex vehicle issues and guiding technicians through repairs.

The role requires extensive diagnostic experience and proficiency with advanced software/hardware. Master certifications are desirable, and you will contribute to a culture of learning while working fully remotely.

Qualifications

Extensive diagnostic experience in automotive technology.
Master certifications desirable (ASE Master or equivalent).
Proficiency with advanced diagnostic software and hardware.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support and diagnostic guidance to automotive repair technicians.
Analyze vehicle diagnostic data and fault codes to determine root causes.
Develop detailed repair procedures and troubleshooting guides for complex problems.
Stay current with new vehicle technologies and diagnostic tools.
Maintain accurate records of support interactions and resolutions.
Collaborate with engineering teams to feedback common issues and suggest improvements.
