Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Automotive Diagnostics Specialist to join its technical support division. This role is entirely remote and focuses on advanced diagnostic support and troubleshooting for a wide range of vehicles.

You will leverage cutting-edge diagnostic tools, analyze fault codes and sensor data, and guide field technicians through remote procedures. The position offers autonomy and a direct impact on customer satisfaction and vehicle uptime.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as Master Automotive Technician or Diagnostics Specialist.
Deep knowledge of electrical, mechanical and electronic systems across vehicle makes/models.
Proficient with advanced diagnostic software and scan tools.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with methodical troubleshooting.
Excellent communication; able to explain technical information to non-technical people.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.

Responsibilities

Provide expert remote diagnostic support for complex automotive issues.
Analyze diagnostic data, fault codes, and sensor readings to identify root causes.
Guide field technicians through remote diagnostic procedures and repairs.
Maintain and update a knowledge base of issues and solutions.
Collaborate with engineering to feedback product performance and improvements.
