Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Automotive Diagnostic Specialist to join our fully remote technical support team. You will diagnose and resolve complex automotive issues for field technicians and customers using advanced diagnostic tools.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with vehicle electronics, CAN bus systems, and diagnostic software, and communicates technical solutions clearly in a virtual environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as Automotive Diagnostic Technician or Service Manager.
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle electronic systems, CAN, and diagnostic software.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot remotely and communicate solutions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote diagnostic support for diverse vehicle makes and models.
• Analyze diagnostic data, codes, and sensor readings to identify root causes.
• Guide field technicians through procedures via phone, video, and remote access.
• Maintain a knowledge base of diagnostic solutions and bulletins.
• Collaborate with engineering to feedback on vehicle performance and improvements.
• Assist in developing training materials for technicians on advanced diagnostics.
