Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for engineering and manufacturing roles, including mechanical, electrical, civil, and production engineers, technicians, and management positions.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates through various channels.
• Conduct detailed candidate assessments, interviews, and reference checks to ensure technical and cultural fit.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their technical requirements and business objectives.
• Negotiate offers and facilitate the onboarding process for successful candidates.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and talent availability within the engineering and manufacturing sectors.
• Utilize recruitment databases and tools to track candidate progress and manage client interactions efficiently.
• Contribute to business development by identifying potential new clients and opportunities.
• Provide exceptional service and consultation to both clients and candidates.
• Maintain a high standard of professional conduct and ethical practice.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience, with a specialization in Engineering and/or Manufacturing sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to source and place technical and engineering professionals.
• Strong understanding of various engineering disciplines and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage a demanding workload effectively.
• A results-oriented approach with a strong drive to succeed.
• A bachelor's degree or relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
• Experience within the Western Cape region is a plus.
