Placements24 is seeking a motivated Recruitment Consultant focused on engineering to join our growing Mossel Bay team. The role offers remote work flexibility and occasional travel to Mossel Bay in the Western Cape, with autonomy to build a strong client base and engineer talent pipelines.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in recruitment, a track record of sourcing hard-to-find engineering talent, and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recruitment experience, preferably in engineering disciplines.
• Proven ability to source and engage hard-to-find engineering talent.
• Strong understanding of the engineering job market and skill sets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with ATS and recruitment databases.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably with a specialization in engineering disciplines (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical).
• Proven ability to source and engage hard-to-find engineering talent.
• Strong understanding of the engineering job market and required skill sets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment databases.
• A results-driven attitude with a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Human Resources, or a related field is advantageous.
