Placements24 is seeking a Technical Recruitment Consultant for a remote role with occasional travel to Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. Your focus will be sourcing and placing engineers across civil, mechanical, electrical and chemical disciplines, connecting top talent with leading engineering firms.

You will manage full recruitment cycles, screen technically, negotiate offers, and contribute to salary benchmarking and market insights in a fast-growing recruitment practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in technical recruitment focusing on engineering.
• Proven success in sourcing and placing engineers (civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.

About the Role

Our client, a specialized recruitment consultancy with a strong focus on engineering disciplines, is seeking a motivated Technical Recruitment Consultant to join their expanding team. This role, based remotely but with occasional travel to Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, will focus on sourcing and placing highly skilled engineers across various sectors, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and chemical engineering. Requirements

• Proven success in sourcing and placing engineers (e.g., Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Project).
• Strong understanding of engineering concepts, tools, and methodologies.
• Excellent sourcing skills, including the use of LinkedIn Recruiter, technical job boards, and professional networks.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a desk effectively in a remote setting.
• A proactive and results-driven approach to recruitment.
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
• Familiarity with the Mpumalanga region's industrial and engineering landscape is an advantage.
• A degree in Engineering, HR, or a related field is preferred.
