Placements24 is seeking a Recruitment Consultant focused on engineering to connect top engineers with leading SA companies. You will manage the full lifecycle from client needs to sourcing, interviewing and placing engineers in mechanical, electrical, civil and industrial roles.

The position supports a flexible hybrid remote/in-office arrangement in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in recruitment for technical roles, strong communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in recruitment consultancy with engineering focus.
• Proven success recruiting for technical engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of engineering disciplines and skill sets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Experience with recruitment databases and ATS.
• Results-oriented with client satisfaction focus.

About the Role

Our client, a dynamic and expanding recruitment consultancy, is actively seeking a specialized Recruitment Consultant with a focus on the engineering sector. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from understanding client needs to sourcing, interviewing, and placing skilled engineers. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment consultancy, with a clear focus on the engineering sector.
• Demonstrated success in recruiting for technical engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of different engineering disciplines and their respective skill sets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in using recruitment databases and ATS.
• A results-oriented approach with a commitment to client satisfaction.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid remote and in-office environment.
• A degree in Engineering or a related field is a plus, but not essential if recruitment experience is strong.
