Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Technical Recruitment Consultant to support the engineering division in Centurion, Gauteng. You will manage the full recruitment cycle for mechanical, electrical, civil, and software engineering roles, leveraging networks and industry contacts.

You will source, screen, and interview candidates, build client relationships, and drive placements while staying updated on market trends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Recruiter or Recruitment Consultant, with a focus on engineering roles.
• Demonstrated ability to source and attract niche engineering talent.
• Strong understanding of various engineering disciplines and their respective skill sets.
• Excellent interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with clients to understand their technical recruitment needs and specifications.
• Sourcing and screening engineering candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, and industry networks.
• Conducting in-depth interviews to assess technical qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
• Managing the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, providing timely feedback and guidance.
• Facilitating interview scheduling, gathering feedback, and managing the offer process.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with engineering professionals and industry stakeholders.
• Keeping updated on engineering market trends, salary benchmarks, and new technologies.
• Achieving individual and team performance targets for placements and client satisfaction.
• Contributing to growth of the engineering recruitment practice through proactive business development.
