Medical Resources Group (Pty) Ltd is recruiting a highly experienced Radiology Receptionist for a busy radiology practice in Midrand, Gauteng.

You will welcome patients, manage reception and administrative tasks, verify medical aid benefits, capture patient data accurately, and support doctors and radiographers to ensure smooth visits. Previous radiology reception exposure and PACS/HIMS familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' customer service or receptionist experience within the medical industry.
• Extensive experience in radiology reception and medical administration.
• Familiarity with PACS and HIMS systems; Pantheon is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage reception in a professional, compassionate manner.
• Capture patient details and relevant procedures accurately on the practice management system.
• Verify and update patient information, including identity numbers, contact details, and medical aid details.
• Direct patients to radiographers and sonographers according to protocol.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all relevant documentation is completed.
