About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to join their dynamic procurement team based in Cape Town . In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end purchasing process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services essential for operations. You will work closely with suppliers, manage purchase orders, and maintain accurate inventory records. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work both remotely and from our Cape Town office, providing a balanced approach to modern work life. The successful candidate will play a vital part in optimizing the supply chain and contributing to the company's overall efficiency and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and reliability.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to prevent stockouts.
• Track order deliveries and resolve any discrepancies or issues with suppliers.
