Job summary

Sabenza IT & Recruitment in Cape Town seeks a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L2) to lead proactive incident resolution, ensure SLA compliance, and develop network diagrams for client environments.

You will implement security measures, work with SD-WAN technologies such as Palo Alto, Cisco, and Meraki, and collaborate with CoE, automation teams, and clients. Independent work and network deployment experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma, degree, or relevant IT/Computing qualification.
• Experience with network security and incident response preferred.
• CCNA Enterprise and Palo Alto CNSA certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitors ticketing queues and resolves incidents within SLA.
• Provides second-level support and identifies root causes.
• Coordinates with teams and clients for ongoing support and changes.
• Executes changes with risk assessment and CAB-based approvals.
• Maintains documentation, diagrams, and knowledge articles.
