Job summary

Sabenza IT & Recruitment seeks a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L2) in Cape Town. The role focuses on maintaining client IT infrastructure, proactive monitoring, and rapid incident resolution to meet SLAs.

You'll work with Cisco/Aruba tech, SD-WAN, Fortinet, and FortiGate, while contributing to security policies, network diagrams, and CAB-change processes. A solid IT background and collaboration with clients are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in IT/Computing or equivalent work experience.
• NETSCOUT Enterprise nGeniusONE Core is advantageous.
• CCNP Enterprise is advantageous.
• CiscoDevNet Associate is advantageous.
• FortiNet NSE4 or ENSDWI is essential.
• CWNP / CWNE is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot networking equipment.
• Review and update network diagrams and documentation.
• Ensure security policies and procedures are followed.
• Participate in change management (CAB) for network changes.
• Monitor and resolve incidents to meet SLAs.
• Prepare monthly status reports and maintain tech docs.
