Job summary

Sabenza IT & Recruitment seeks a Networking Managed Services Engineer in Cape Town to lead proactive incident resolution and network service delivery. You will identify root causes, implement fixes, and maintain security posture across LAN/WLAN environments.

The role emphasizes documentation, change control, and automation in a dynamic MSP setting. Requires strong knowledge of network security, VPNs, and enterprise WLAN/WLC systems, with certifications such as CWNA/CCIE advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience with network security and incident response preferred.
• Fortinet NSE5, NSE6 or NSE7 or ENSDWI advantageous.
• ITIL v4 Foundation certification is relevant.
• CWNA is essential; CWDP/CWNE advantageous.
• CCIE Enterprise and Wireless are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide test automation and technical support for a network or VPN.
• Identify and resolve incidents to meet SLA conditions.
• Document system diagrams and maintenance documentation.
• Implement change management for architecture changes.
• Design and implement customers' WLAN network infrastructure.
