Lindt in Johannesburg is seeking a customer service focused Retail Sales Associate to provide a world class premium experience in-store and over the phone. You will deliver exceptional service, educate customers on Lindt products, and support sales targets.

Responsibilities include upselling, handling POS transactions, maintaining clean displays, and ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met. A passion for chocolate and guest satisfaction is essential.

Qualifications

• Deliver exceptional customer service across in-store and phone interactions.
• Demonstrate comprehensive Lindt product knowledge including ingredients and handling.
• Upsell effectively to meet daily sales targets and increase transaction value.
• Communicate with customers clearly and courteously in a high-end retail environment.
• Assist customers with product selection and promotions while maintaining professionalism.

Responsabilités

• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times, across the shop and over the phone.
• Greeting all customers, "Welcome to Lindt", hosting and providing a memorable experience
• Educating and informing customers on Lindt chocolate products with passion and knowledge
• Actively sampling providing product knowledge and introducing products through discussion of taste profiles and ingredients
• Upsell to increase customer transaction spend and meet daily sales budgets
• Inform customers of current instore promotions, events and directed information
• Provide customers assistance in the selection of quality Lindt products, encouraging additional sales
• Serve more than one customer at a time, acknowledging and communicating at all times
• Multitask between completing store operational tasks and serving customers
• Process the customer orders through the POS, and credit card transactions
• Own and manage individual tills, including counting floats and end of shift till procedure
• Prepare big customer orders
• Ensure complaints are addressed immediately by informing the Manager on duty
• Develop a rapport with regular customers encouraging repeat business and a pleasant atmosphere
• Restocking and cleaning through the day
