Job summary

Lindt South Africa is seeking an enthusiastic ambassador for our premium chocolate shop. You will deliver world class service, greet customers, upsell, share knowledge of Lindt products and ensure an exceptional in-store experience.

You’ll manage tills, process orders, handle card payments, restock, maintain hygiene and safety, and build rapport with regular customers to drive repeat business. A Grade 12 and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering exceptional customer service in a retail environment.
• Ability to educate customers on product knowledge with passion and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers and colleagues.
• Proven time management and multitasking ability in a fast-paced shop.
• Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times across the shop and on the phone.
• Greet customers, welcome them, and provide a memorable Lindt experience.
• Educate customers on Lindt products, upsell to increase transaction value, and share tasting notes.
• Handle POS transactions, process orders, and manage tills with accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock, restock shelves, and follow safety and hygiene standards.
• Build rapport with regular customers to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
• Assist with monthly stock counts, merchandising, and cash handling procedures.
