Job summary

Lesaka Technologies in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, is seeking an Installation & Support Technician to install and configure POS systems, deliver client training, and provide post‑implementation support across the region.

You will report to the Field Services Manager and own installations from start to finish, including after‑hours standby during go‑lives and critical periods.

Qualifications

• IT qualification with A+ and N+ recommended.
• Windows networking experience.
• 3–5 years in IT or technical support.
• Strong technical support background.
• Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal).
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work irregular hours and travel across KZN.
• Your own reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure POS hardware and software at client sites.
• Manage go-lives, including after-hours support.
• Provide client training on POS and Back Office systems.
• Collaborate with regional technical team.
• Own assigned installations and support tasks.
• Deliver professional, client-centric service.
