Job summary

Lesaka Technologies is seeking an Installation & Support Technician to join the Durban team. You will install and configure POS hardware/software at client sites, manage go-lives, and deliver hands-on field support across KwaZulu-Natal.

Reporting to the Field Services Manager, you will train client staff, hand over operations, and collaborate with the regional team to ensure quality and timely resolutions. A+/N+ certifications and Windows networking experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• IT qualification (A+ and N+ highly recommended)
• Windows networking experience
• 3-5 years of IT or technical support experience
• Strong technical support background
• Excellent English communication skills
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to travel across KZN
• Own reliable vehicle

Responsibilities

• POS installations and go-lives at client sites
• Provide technical support during business hours and on after-hours rosters
• Train client staff on POS and Back Office systems
• Collaborate with regional technical team and own installation sections
• Take ownership of installations and support tasks
