Job summary

Lesaka Technologies is hiring an Installation & Support Technician for the Bloemfontein region. You will install and configure POS hardware/software at client sites, manage go-lives, and provide post‑implementation support and training to client staff.

The role involves after‑hours standby and occasional travel across the Free State to ensure successful deployments and client readiness. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in IT or technical support, Windows networking experience, and an IT

Qualifications

An IT qualification (A+ and N+ highly recommended).
Windows networking experience.
3–5 years of experience in the IT or technical support field.
Strong technical support background (essential).
Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal).
Strong problem solving capabilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

POS installations & go-lives: install and configure POS hardware/software at client sites; manage go-lives and after-hours support.
Technical support: provide technical support during business hours and standby after-hours per regional roster.
Client training & handover: train client staff on POS and Back Office systems; ensure readiness before handover.
Team & operational support: collaborate with regional technical team; own allocated installation sections; support continuity during critical periods.
Accountability & ownership: take full responsibility for assigned installations and support tasks; deliver client-centric service at all times.
