Job summary

The Working Earth is hiring an HR Generalist in Gauteng to manage the full recruitment cycle, support onboarding, and provide HR guidance across the business. You will handle disciplinary processes, employee relations, performance management and payroll support while ensuring compliance with SA labour law.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, Labour Relations or related field.
• 3–5 years' experience in a Human Resources Generalist role.
• Sound knowledge of South African labour legislation.
• Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management and HR administration.
• Knowledge of Employment Equity, Skills Development and BBBEE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to appointment.
• Facilitate onboarding and induction programmes.
• Provide HR guidance and support to managers and employees.
• Manage disciplinary, grievance and incapacity procedures.
• Promote positive employee relations and engagement.
• Conduct workplace investigations and support conflict resolution.
• Coordinate performance review processes.
• Assist with performance objectives and development plans.
• Support payroll input and administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation.
• Assist with HR reporting, audits and policy implementation.
