Job summary

Bluespec Holdings in Durban is seeking a dedicated payroll professional to manage the full salary function, including bonuses, overtime and timesheets. You will collate monthly payroll data and ensure timely, accurate payments to staff.

You will liaise with Finance for SARS year-end compliance, produce IRP5 documents, and assist with month-end reporting and audits. Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are required for daily HR payroll support.

Responsibilities

• Process the full salary function and ensure payroll accuracy.
• Calculate accurate wages including bonuses, raises and overtime.
• Ensure accurate processing of timesheets.
• Collate monthly payroll data (overtime, terminations, new starters, increases) to ensure correct inputs.
• Submit accurate payroll sheets to head office for timely wage payments.
• Resolve payroll queries from employees and line management quickly.
• Process leave requests and manage scheduling.
• Coordinate with Finance to meet SARS year-end tax requirements.
• Produce IRP5 documents and ensure staff receive them for the tax period.
• Assist with month-end reporting and audit processes.
• Support monthly reporting and ad-hoc reporting as required.
• Assist HR with day-to-day payroll queries.
