Job summary

FirstRand in South Africa is seeking an operations professional to manage day-to-day payroll collection, processing payments, reconciliations and client servicing, ensuring timely escalations and high service levels. You will support the value chain from initiation to investigation and improve operational efficiencies.

Candidates should have strong analytical skills, experience in reconciliation, and advanced Excel, with knowledge of insurance context and office suite proficiency.

Qualifications

• 10-years’ experience in reconciliation and data matching.
• Payroll understanding and experience.
• Insurance knowledge.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Understanding of payment operations client facing and back-office processes.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day payroll collection and reconciliation processing.
• Escalate and resolve client servicing issues promptly.
• Ensure settlements are completed accurately and on time.
• Troubleshoot operational needs and manage value chain from initiation to reconciliation.
