Job summary

Office Beacon South Africa seeks a Part-time Sales Developer/Business Developer to join a USA-based client. Role is in-office in Auckland Park, Johannesburg, 4 hours daily, Monday to Friday, aligned with USA business hours.

You will prospect, build relationships, generate qualified leads, and create new business opportunities through cold calling, LinkedIn, and email outreach, supporting the sales team in pipeline development.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of SDR/BDR/Inside Sales or Telemarketing experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable making outbound calls to business owners and decision-makers.
• Proven LinkedIn prospecting, cold calling, email outreach, and appointment setting experience.
• Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales records.
• Strong follow-up, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Self-motivated, persistent, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Ability to understand customer pain points and communicate solutions effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospects.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate CRM databases and manage a portfolio of opportunities.
• Research prospects, identify key decision-makers, understand customer needs, and uncover opportunities.
• Conduct daily warm and cold calls, telemarketing, and inside-sales activities using scripts.
• Perform LinkedIn outreach and email prospecting to targeted customers.
• Handle inbound and outbound prospecting calls and follow up with potential customers.
• Qualify leads and nurture opportunities over medium to long term.
• Schedule qualified appointments, meetings, and product demonstrations for the sales team.
• Communicate company products and services to prospective customers.
