Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring a Sales Development Representative to join their South Africa-wide team. This remote, full-time role focuses on opening doors, researching target accounts, and booking qualified meetings to fuel the pipeline.

You will own outbound prospecting across email, LinkedIn, and phone, build accurate contact lists, and maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft while collaborating with Account Executives to optimize messaging and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role (agency or SaaS experience a plus).
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
