Job summary

JVR Software seeks an organized Ordering Clerk to join the Sales and Administration team in the Cape Town region. The role focuses on processing customer orders, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting sales administration with pricing and order details.

Ideal candidates have Matric, prior order processing or sales administration experience, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with Sage Evolution.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• Experience in ordering, sales administration or order processing is required.
• Strong computer literacy and MS Office skills are essential.
• Sage Evolution experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately receive, capture and process customer purchase orders.
• Ensure all order details are correctly captured and maintained in the system.
• Monitor stock availability and coordinate with internal departments.
• Keep customers updated on order progress and expected delivery timelines.
• Provide sales administration support with pricing, availability and order information.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure orders are accurate before dispatch.
• Prepare invoices, packing slips and other relevant documentation.
• Process customer returns and exchanges efficiently.
• Investigate and resolve order discrepancies and customer queries.
• Compile reports relating to orders, sales and inventory.
