Placements24 is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for a prestigious boutique hotel group. The role combines on-site leadership across Rustenburg properties with strategic remote planning, delivering exceptional guest experiences and profitable operations.

You will oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B and Maintenance, manage budgets, mentor staff, implement best practices, and ensure health and safety compliance in a hybrid work model that balances on-site presence with remote

About the Role

Our client, a prestigious boutique hotel group known for its personalized service and unique guest experiences, is looking for a skilled and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across several of their properties. This role will require a hybrid approach, with significant time spent on-site at various Rustenburg locations, complemented by remote work for strategic planning and reporting. The Operations Manager will be instrumental in ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high standards of service, and driving efficiency across all departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance. You will lead and mentor teams, manage budgets, and implement best practices to enhance guest satisfaction and profitability. Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel operations management, with a focus on boutique or luxury properties.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of all hotel operational departments.
• Excellent financial acumen and budget management skills.
• Proficiency in hotel management software and systems.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with staff and guests effectively.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing on‑site presence with remote responsibilities.
• Knowledge of the Rustenburg hospitality market is an advantage.
• A relevant degree in Hospitality Management or Business Administration is preferred.
