Placements24 is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer for a leading industrial manufacturer in Rustenburg. The role focuses on optimizing production lines, improving efficiency, quality, and safety across operations.

You will analyze processes, implement improvements, and collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to deploy new technologies and methodologies. This on-site position offers opportunities to advance in a world-class facility.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, focusing on process optimization.
Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies.

Mansioni

Analyze manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement process improvements to increase throughput, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
Design, install, and commission new manufacturing equipment and production lines.
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide training to production staff.
Monitor production metrics and analyze data to track process performance and identify trends.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Implement and maintain quality control systems and procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
