Placements24 seeks a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer in Johannesburg to drive process optimization, automation, and efficiency across state-of-the-art facilities. You will analyze workflows, identify improvements, and implement innovative solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, hands-on automation experience, and a proven track record in process implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or related field is required.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering with automation focus.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing automated systems (robotics, PLC/SCADA).
• Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma; data-driven problem solving.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to remove bottlenecks and reduce costs.
• Design, implement, and validate automated systems and manufacturing technologies.
• Improve line efficiency, throughput, and product quality.
• Develop SOPs and manufacturing documentation.
• Lead cross-functional teams across R&D, QA, and production.
