Placements24 is seeking an organized and creative Event Planning Coordinator for on-site work in Rustenburg, North West. You will assist senior planners with a wide range of events—from corporate conferences to weddings—ensuring flawless logistics and exceptional client satisfaction.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with venues, vendors, and the events team to deliver memorable experiences.

Qualifications

• Prior experience coordinating events or similar roles.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
• Ability to work irregular hours.
• Willingness to relocate to Rustenburg, North West.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning and executing events, ensuring every logistical requirement is met.
• Coordinate with vendors, venues and suppliers, and manage contracts.
• Manage event timelines and budgets, while aligning with client expectations.
• Oversee on-site setup, operations and breakdown.
• Communicate with clients to understand event needs and provide updates.
• Conduct venue research and site inspections.
• Assist in developing event concepts, themes and creative elements.
• Manage RSVPs, guest lists and seating arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and legal regulations for events.
• Provide support to the event management team before, during and after events.
