About the Role

Our client, a reputable non-profit organization championing youth development in Port Elizabeth , seeks a meticulous and forward-thinking Non-Profit Operations Manager. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the organization, enabling it to maximize its impact. Responsibilities include overseeing administrative functions, managing resources, supporting program delivery, and enhancing operational efficiency. As a remote-first position, this role requires a self-disciplined individual adept at managing tasks and collaborating virtually. The Operations Manager will play a key part in strengthening the organizational capacity to serve the youth of the Eastern Cape effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily administrative and operational functions of the organization remotely.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage organizational assets, including IT infrastructure, office supplies, and vendor relationships.
• Support program staff by ensuring they have the necessary resources and operational support to execute their initiatives.
• Oversee budgeting and financial management processes, working closely with the finance department.
• Manage HR-related administrative tasks, including onboarding, record-keeping, and benefits administration.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements for non-profit organizations.
• Coordinate logistics for virtual meetings, events, and staff training sessions.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement cost-saving measures.
• Maintain accurate organizational records and databases.

Requirements

• Proven experience in operations management, administration, or a related field, preferably within the non-profit sector.
