About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing non-profit organization dedicated to improving educational outcomes for underprivileged youth, is seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Manager for their office in Pretoria, Gauteng . This pivotal role involves overseeing the daily operations of the organization, ensuring efficiency, and supporting the effective delivery of programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, financial oversight, and human resources within a non-profit setting. You will play a key role in enabling the organization to scale its impact and achieve its strategic goals in the Pretoria region and beyond. This is a critical on-site position requiring full dedication to the operational needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the organization. Develop and implement efficient operational policies and procedures to support program delivery and organizational growth. Manage the organization's facilities, including office space, equipment, and supplies. Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and reporting in collaboration with the finance department. Manage human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee relations. Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within a non-profit organization. Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and HR functions. Strong understanding of non-profit governance and compliance requirements. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with operational management software. Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of the Gauteng non-profit landscape is advantageous.
