About the Role

Our client, a reputable non-profit organization dedicated to advancing social justice initiatives in Port Elizabeth , is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Director. This critical role will oversee the day-to-day operational efficiency of the organization, ensuring that all administrative, financial, and logistical functions support the mission effectively. This is a fully remote position, requiring a self-motivated individual with exceptional organizational skills and a proactive approach. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-profit management, financial oversight, and strategic planning. You will be instrumental in streamlining processes and ensuring the smooth functioning of our impactful work from a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all aspects of organizational operations, including finance, HR, IT, and administration.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee budget development and management, ensuring financial stewardship and compliance.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure procurement processes are efficient and cost-effective.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of HR principles, legal compliance, and administrative best practices.
