Job summary

Pedros is opening a brand-new store in Paarl, Cape Town. We are seeking passionate, energetic individuals to join the launch team and help establish daily operations, service standards, and a strong store culture from day one.

You will oversee restaurant/take-away operations, manage stock, staff rosters, and customer care, while driving sales and profitability. Leadership, training, and health and safety compliance are essential for a successful kickoff.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant/fast-food service with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
• GAAP experience is advantageous.
• Strong management skills required.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
• Customer service and verbal communication skills essential.
• Problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall operation of the restaurant/take-away.
• Ensure quality standards and PEDROS SOPs are followed.
• Manage stock control, purchasing and orders.
• Handle customer complaints and maintain high service levels.
• Maximise profitability and meet sales targets; motivate staff.
• Lead staff including discipline and rosters; foster teamwork.
