Job summary

Pedros is opening a brand-new Krugersdorp store and invites energetic individuals to join the launch team. You will help build a high-performing restaurant/take-away operation from day one, delivering great service and quality in a fast-paced setting.

This role offers hands-on operational leadership and opportunities for growth. As a leader, you will manage staff rosters, stock, customer service, and safety compliance while driving profitability and promoting a positive store culture.

Qualifications

• Restaurant and fast-food service experience, minimum 3 years.
• GAAP experience and knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong management and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall operation of restaurant/take-away.
• Ensure food quality and SOP compliance.
• Oversee stock control, purchasing and orders.
• Handle customer complaints and maintain service levels.
• Maximise profitability and achieve sales targets.
• Manage staff, rosters and discipline.
• Promote health and safety compliance.
• Lead training and staff development.
• Recruitment and selection, monitor performance.
• Conduct daily opening and closing procedures.
• Coordinate promotions and store marketing activities.
• People management and regular staff meetings.
